Description:

4 year degree + 5 to 10 years experience in finance or accounting. Experience with Microsoft Office applications as well as G/L reporting packages.

Solid finance & accounting skills combined with creative thinking, analytical and project management abilities, strong interpersonal and team building skills and the ability to communicate effectively with senior management.

 
Requirements:This position works very closely with the VP of Finance and the executive team of a leading sports entertainment giant. Partner with the finance and operation staff to identify and solve business problems and process inefficiencies. Support and assist with leading strategic growth initiatives and improve operating results. Responsible for development of budgets and forecasts, variance analyses, risk/opportunity assessments, long-term planning, financial models and various periodic and ad hoc reporting. Ensure contractual commitments are clearly documented, understood and met. Responsible for leading financial initiatives within departments (cash & working capital maximization/management, improve budgeting processes, department scorecard/metric development & reporting, cost control efforts, elimination/simplification of internal allocations/billing).
